Farmer's Market featuring the Dog Days of Summer
Sponsored by Green Bay Packaging

Dog lovers and owners alike loved this event where their furry friends were invited to join them during the Farmer’s Market in Downtown Fremont on August 20th, 2011. Compliments of Green Bay Packaging and generous local business owners, goodie bags were given to 100 pet owners that were filled with treats.

A pet fashion show, a grooming demonstration, and fun contests were held throughout the morning for all to enjoy. In addition to the special events, the Humane Society of Sandusky County and the Sandusky County Dog Kennel brought dogs for the public to meet and two dogs were adopted!

  • Do you have a dog that does a special trick?

  • Do you have an outfit that you dress your dog in, so adorable everyone always comments on it?

  • Or, do you have the smallest, or largest dog you have ever seen?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then register your dog for our contests in 2012! Our 2011 “TOP DOG” contest winners in Downtown Fremont were:

Farmer’s Market featuring a NEW Kid’s Market
Sponsored by Rileigh’s Closet

Young people are bursting with artistic and creative energy. The Kid’s Market is a fun way for boys and girls to express themselves. It is also a great way to promote entrepreneurial skills among our young, teaching them business skills such as income versus expenses, and money skills like counting change, at a young age. The Kid’s Market is a positive environment for the development of social and business skills of our local youth.

The kids vendors in 2011 did a fantastic job of crafting their products and selling them to the public. Thank you to all of you who supported them! They are our future!
